For many years the representation and realization of movement has inspired the imagination of many artists. Among them is a sculptor, Arman. One of his pieces is a statue made in 1995 called “The Secret of Movement” which is illustrated here. | LaLeonessa Slewing Rings are entirely manufactured at our factory in
Carpenedolo (Brescia), Italy. These production facilities are situated in
an area of over 250,000 square feet, over 130,000 square feet of which is
covered. The production of LaLeonessa Slewing Rings is made only on CNC machines. The induction hardening treatment on the ball/roller raceways and gears is carried out on a modern CNC machine. It is equipped with the most sophisticated systems for quality control of the hardening process. The grinding operation for the ball/roller raceway ensures high precision uniformity for rotation. It also maintains the flatness and run-out tolerances within strict values. |

| As of November 1997 LaLeonessa has become an approved ISO 9001 supplier. All the production phases are preformed according to strict procedure, controlling the quality of the product, from raw material procurement to the final delivery. | |||

The compliance of the slewing ring to the specifications of the drawing is controlled by our own laboratory. LaLeonessa design, sales and engineering departments use adequate hardware and software tools, which cooperate with customers to define the most suitable slewing ring for the application. | ||
